About

Welcome to my website, I am an author of stories, plays, but mostly, children's poetry.

I have the BEST job of visiting schools all over the UK, inspiring children to play with words, setting their imaginations on fire and creating their own poetry full of imagery. When not in schools, I write.

My debut poetry collection "Where Do Wishes Go?" published by Otter-Barry Books in March 2022.

"The Moon's Gorgonzola" for KS1 children publishes with Troika Books in 2023 and a third collection is publishing with Otter-Barry Books in 2025.

My poetry appears in anthologies with Otter-Barry, Macmillan, Bloomsbury, A&C Black and many more.

Two poems also feature on the LAMDA syllabus.

I am able to work with children of varying abilities, including children who lack focus and those for whom English is their second language (EAL) Gifted and Talented writers, children who lack confidence, children who struggle with focus and children from overseas who speak no or little English. I love what I do!

Above all, in each workshop, we have FUN!

Fees: School budgets are tight, so I keep my fees very competitive. Expenses include travel and inexpensive hotel accommodation. I bring my own lunch!

Scroll through my pages to find out more and take a look at the many testimonials from schools.

Thank you for visiting!
